As you know, all the proceeds from our Scrapping for Soldiers crops are sent to Soldiers Angels to purchase phone cards for our deployed soldiers. In addition, we also send greeting cards - both blank and ones with messages inside to Soldiers Angels to distribute to the soldiers and we ship care packages and cards directly overseas to various contacts as well. These cards are very important to the soldiers to keep them connected to their family and friends and to show our support for what they are doing. 

I would like to invite everyone to participate in our greeting card challenge and create handmade cards for the soldiers. It only takes one card to make a difference for a soldier.

In addition to our greeting cards, we are now collecting care package items to send to deployed soldiers. We have several soldiers we’ve adopted, including their units. Here’s a list of recommended items from Soldiers Angels for the care packages. Of course, most of the soldiers we send care packages to are requesting snack items. We hope you can help with this project as well!
